Grants of up to $10,000 to eligible Maryland high schools to prepare students for college and careers in the biomedical sciences. Grantees implementing the required career programs in their schools can either choose to enhance their programs with state of the art equipment, materials, supplies, and other items necessary to implement the program successfully, or to develop enrichment programs to facilitate students' academic achievement.
Funds will be provided for consultant services, stipends, materials and supplies, and up to 5% of the grant funding may be used for administrative expenses.
