Grants of up to $10,000 to Alberta and Saskatchewan charitable organizations for education and healthcare projects that will benefit eligible communities. Funding is intended to improve the lives of the residents in the following communities: Marengo, Gaudin, Viking, Stoughton, Willingdon, and Crossfield.

Funds will only be granted to projects with a health or education focus.

Projects must provide a direct and tangible benefit to the community.

Providence Grain Solutions believes it is important to be a part of the rural communities surrounding their locations. Their goal is to see these communities flourish both economically and socially.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The Foundation will fund projects of up to $10,000 per grant period. Requests for funds over $10,000 will not be considered.

Term of Contract:

The applicant organization must use the funds for a specific project with a start and end date.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The following are eligibility requirements for applicants:

- The applicant must be a registered not-for profit or charity
- The Fund is only open to organizations that operate within the areas surrounding the Foundation's locations: Crossfield, Gaudin, Marengo, Willingdon, Stoughton, and Viking.

Funds can only be used for the sole purpose stated in the application form. The following will not be considered for funding:

- Retrospective requests for funding (i.e. works that have already been completed)
- Requests to use money for membership fees, or subsistent requests (meaning that the applicant organization is not viable unless it receives money from the Foundation)
- Funds for ongoing operational costs
- Requests for funds by individuals

Pre-Application Information:

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. However, funds will only be awarded twice a year.
