Grants of up to $5,000 to Arizona nonprofit organizations, schools, tribal nations, and government agencies to divert materials from landfills. Funding is intended to support the development of new recycling initiatives that enhance the recovery of recyclables and decrease the amount of waste. Eligible programs will result in a measurable reduction of materials that would otherwise be landfilled.

AZRC will award up to two (2) grants this year.
Up to $5,000
Applicants as defined:
- In the recycling industry and engaged in the collection, transporting, processing, marketing, education/outreach of recyclable materials
- Is a nonprofit, government agency, school, or a tribal nation. Must provide proof on nonprofit status.
- AZRC member in good standing. If not a member, grant funding will be used for a one year membership for the winning applicant.
- Applicant must demonstrate a commitment to sustaining the project beyond the grant term and explain how that commitment will be maintained.
Grant applications must be submitted by September 15, 2018, 11:59 PM.
All applicants will receive confirmation of their electronic submission within 72 business hours of receipt.
The first review of the applications will be completed by October 1, 2018. The grant award announcement will be made at the Arizona Recycling Coalition Convention in October 2018.
