Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation
Grants to Rhode Island nonprofits in areas where the funding source does business for programs that benefit children, families, the elderly, and the underprivileged. Proposals supporting programs and projects will receive priority over those that are event-related.

The Foundation may cap funding at a maximum of three consecutive years, with a one-year moratorium after the third year.
To be considered for a grant, organizations must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Received IRS 501(c)3 tax-exempt status
- Serve Rhode Island communities with an emphasis on statewide coverage
Centreville Bank currently has seven branch locations, including:
- West Warwick
- East Greenwich
- West Greenwich
- North Kingstown
The Foundation does not normally contribute to:
-Fraternal or alumni organizations
-Individuals or programs that benefit specific individuals
-Religious organizations (community service programs such as soup kitchens and shelters that are sponsored by religious organizations will be considered)
-Talent or beauty contests
-Requests for ad space including, but not limited to, tee signs, programs, and brochures will not be considered
-Pass through requests
-National organizations with local chapters
-Requests for sporting or other equipment
-Organizations outside the bank's lending area
Grant decisions are made by the last business day in February, May, August and November. To be considered, please submit your application by January 15, April 15, July 15, or October 15.
