Grants of up to $10,000 to North Carolina nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, congregations, and government agencies in eligible areas for projects that improve the lives of local residents. Funding is intended to support programs within the focus areas of arts and culture, environment, education, health, and housing. Eligible applicants serve the residents of Cabarrus County.
Priority will be given to requests for projects and programs that address a community need. Eligible organizations are expected to address one of the following result areas:

The board anticipates awarding grants up to $10,000, but for exceptional applications that would be impactful to residents of Cabarrus County, the board will consider larger requests. Historically, the Cabarrus County Community Foundation's most common award amount has been $5,000.
