Grants to Texas academic teams for financial support to participate in computer science and STEM competitions. Priority will be given to teams of students that demonstrate financial need and are underserved or underrepresented within STEM education, such as females and minorities. Teams may receive a combination of financial support and in-kind computer donations.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants:
- Any FIRST team in Texas can apply.
- The person submitting the application should be an adult (not a team member) who is a primary contact for the Team.
- The person submitting the application will need to create a free Submittable account. All grant-related communications will be sent to the email address associated with your Submittable account.
- Do not use a student team member’s name or email address when creating a Submittable account, or submit an application under a pre-existing student team member’s account.
- Only one application per team may be submitted. Duplicate submissions will be deleted.

Pre-Application Information:

Teams who apply early are more likely to receive a grant.

- October 30th: Grant Funds Processed

- November 16th: Round 2 Notifications Complete
- December 4th: Grant Funds Processed

Round Three:
- December 6th: Applications due for Round 3
- December 7th: Round 3 Review Begins
- December 11th: Round 3 Notifications Complete
- January 8th: Grant Funds Processed
