Grants ranging from $100 to $500 to Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Louisiana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Texas K-12 teachers for classroom projects in communities where the funding source has a business presence. Examples of requests include field trips, literacy efforts, and incentives for student performance.

Applicants may be teachers, school administrators or parent volunteers/PTA officials at public and private schools located in or near communities where Freeport-McMoRan has a presence.
Applications must be submitted through the K-12 school.
Applications must be submitted online.
A school is eligible to receive up to four (4) mini-grants during each application period. Each applicant/teacher/classroom may receive one mini-grant award per school year.
