Grants of up to $1,250 to Kentucky agricultural producers and farms to defray the cost of third-party audits that evaluate and ensure good agricultural practices. This cost-share program is intended to support only produce crops. The audited farm/producer, auditor, and certifying agency must clearly appear on the submitted invoice.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Cost-share will be 75% of the audit cost up to a maximum reimbursement of $1,250.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any Kentucky producer completing a third party Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) audit may participate in the KHC cost-share program.

To receive reimbursement producers must be, or become, a member of Kentucky Proud through the Kentucky Department of Ag.

Pre-Application Information:

Application pre-approval is strongly encouraged but not required.

The deadline for reimbursement submissions is December 15, 2020.

Once the audit process is complete, submit a copy or image of the third-party GAPs audit receipt.
