Grants to North Carolina arts and human services nonprofit organizations for projects and programs that foster innovation and model solutions. Eligible projects include but are not limited to, program development and execution, technology, capital improvements, and equipment.

The program offers two grant funding pools: The Memorial Grant in Arts and the Memorial Grant in Human Services.

The Foundation's definition of an innovative project is one that 1) is an entirely new creation 2) changes how things are done (ex: improving processes, procedures, equipment, facilities, etc.) or 3) expands or alters the scope of work (ex: reaching new populations). Regardless, the result should be a quantifiable gain for the organization and the people it serves.
