Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, Prince Edward Island Chapter, administered by Recreation PEI
Grants of up to $300 per child to Prince Edward Island families to help children and youth (ages 4 - 18) in need participate in organized sports and recreation programs. Applications are considered on a rolling basis from January 1 through November 20. Funds are intended to offset the cost of registration fees and equipment.
Eligibility for funding is based on financial need. Application must be for a physical activity that is held over a season. Grants are available to more than one member of the same family in the same season.
