Grants to Florida nonprofit corporations and public entities to support arts and cultural programming. Applicants must complete required registrations prior to submitting a proposal. Funding is intended to support cultural activities throughout the state, including professional services, performances, events, exhibits, and educational programs. For the purposes of this program, arts and cultural disciplines include music, dance, theatre, creative writing, literature, architecture, painting, sculpture, folk arts, photography, crafts, media arts, visual arts, programs of museums, and other such allied, major art forms.
General Program Support (GPS) funding provides funding for Florida’s arts and cultural organizations, both public and private. GPS is designed to fund general program activities (as opposed to a specific project) of an organization. The grant funding should further the State’s cultural objectives by:
