Kansas Leadership Center (KLC)
In-kind grants of coaching, training, consulting, and support to Kansas nonprofit and faith-based organizations, business associations, school districts, IHEs, and government agencies for capacity building assistance. The grants are intended to help organizations solve problems, develop collaboration skills, and increase their ability to address challenges. The goal of the program is to help nonprofits thrive and evolve in the future.
The program is a three-step sequence of dynamic program experiences—The KLC Path—taught by an inspiring and diverse team of teachers and coaches. Organizations that receive the grant will attend programs on the KLC Path: Your Leadership Edge, Lead for Change, and Equip to Lead. Programs must be attended in consecutive order and organizations are responsible for participant recruitment.
Each partner organization will establish a Core Team to take on the responsibilities of the grant. This team needs to be identified on the grant application and will be critical to the success and implementation of the grant. This Core Team, of 3-6 individuals, are responsible for:
