Grants of up to $1,500 to Richland County K-12 public and private school teachers or teams of teachers for new and innovative projects, programs, or events. Prospective applicants must contact the Foundation before applying. Workshops will be held March through May 2017. Funding is intended for activities that are not supported by the regular school budget.

The maximum grant amount is $1,500.

Any Richland County public or private school teacher who teaches children kindergarten through high school is eligible to apply.

Grant Writing Workshops are offered throughout the year at the Main Library and Foundation office. RSVP to Foundation staff listed in Contact Information below.

- Introduction to Finding Foundation Grants for Nonprofits - April 25, 2017 at 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Mansfield Richland County Public Library Main Branch

- Introduction to Proposal Writing and Budgeting - May 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Mansfield Richland County Public Library Main Branch

The application procedure should begin by contacting the Foundation Senior Community Investment Officer. The Foundation prefers to discuss an organization's needs prior to a grant application submission so the best funding opportunity is determined.

Grant funding will be announced in early August via email to the teacher and principal.
