Grants of up to $1,500 to Richland County, Ohio public and private school teachers to initiate interesting and creative new events, projects, and programs for K-12 classrooms. Applicants must contact program staff to initiate the application process.
Funding will be provided to individual classroom teachers or small teams of classroom teachers. Grants are intended to foster educational innovation by funding creative ideas which are not supported by regular school budgets.

The maximum grant amount is $1,500.
Any Richland County public or private school teacher who teaches children kindergarten through high school is eligible to apply. If you are unsure of your status, contact the Foundation to inquire.
The following items will not be considered for funding: Storage containers and rugs, shipping and handling charges, transportation, substitute teacher costs and seating options.
Applying for a grant can seem like a huge undertaking. Staff is available to help you along the way. The application process should begin by contacting Foundation Senior Community Investment Officer Allie Watson to schedule an initial meeting.
Applications must be submitted online by the last Friday in June.
The next deadline is June 29, 2018 at 11:59 PM EDT (Midnight).
Grant funding will be announced in early August via email to the teacher and principal.
