Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $2,500 to Colorado nonprofits and County departments to support efforts and activities to publicize the State's child abuse and neglect hotline. Thoughtful consideration of new public awareness strategies and ideas is encouraged. Possible ideas for use of funds include, but are not limited to:

- Collateral printing costs
- Special events
- Public education or ongoing training
- Social media endeavors (examples are using Facebook to inform the public of events, trainings, tips, and other important information or to use Pinterest to create boards of resources for child abuse and neglect, community resources, etc.)
- Video projects
- Other innovative strategies

Estimated Size of Grant:

Up to $2,500 per grantee, to be determined based on the number of project proposals submitted and funds available.

Term of Contract:

Funded efforts and activities must be completed by April 30, 2016.

Nonprofits and County departments

Funds may not be used for the following:
- To publicize a county or national hotline number; only efforts to publicize the Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline (1-844-CO-4-KIDS) are eligible.
- Paid Media
- Pinwheels or blue ribbon purchases

2. Submit application electronically, in Word format, via email to Heinrich Marketing, and mail or deliver two (2) signed hard copies to the address listed below. The hard copy applications must contain a signature. The electronic version does not require a signature.
