Grants of up to $1,000 to Hammond, Indiana nonprofit organizations for programs in the areas of arts and humanities, civic betterment, education, and health and welfare. Funding is intended specifically for visual, performing, and literary art, local public activities that improve the quality of life, and education programs for youth and adults.

The maximum award for an application is $1,000 for a program or project.
- HCC grants are limited to organizations serving Hammond residents only.
- Applicants must have tax exempt status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service.
- Only applicants which do not discriminate on any basis, including race, creed or color will be accepted.
The Hammond Community Corporation will begin accepting applications for the 2018 grant year beginning on October 15, 2018 through December 14, 2018 by 4:30 p.m. Please be aware that only hard copy applications will be considered. All mailed applications must be post marked by December 14, 2018.
