New Relationship Trust (NRT)
Grants of up to $2,500 to British Columbia First Nations youth groups for capacity building projects. Funding is intended to build youth organizational capacity by implementing projects or attending youth conferences. The Foundation defines capacity building as enhancing knowledge, abilities, skills, and processes in areas such as: Leadership, Mentorship, Team Building, and Language and Culture.

The maximum amount available is $2,500 per First Nations youth group.
The Youth Grant Initiative is available to BC First Nations youth groups at the community level.
Examples of Ineligible Expenses or Projects
- Projects currently funded under another NRT initiative with an outstanding final report
- Tuition, fees, and school related costs
- Administration costs and overhead costs
- Honorariums or existing staff wages or salaries
- Sport camps
Applications and proposals can be delivered by fax, email, or dropped off in person until Thursday, May 23, 2019.
Only one project per First Nation and/or community will be funded per year.
