Women's Foundation of Oklahoma (WFO)
Grants to Oklahoma universities and colleges to provide educational opportunities to women. The purpose of this program is to facilitate the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of single mother students. Grant funds may be used to support new or existing events and programs and to increase awareness about educational opportunities for students who are single mothers.
The Women’s Foundation of Oklahoma invests in economic self-sufficiency for Oklahoma women and girls and is specifically interested in advancing educational opportunities for single mother students. The Women's Foundation made a commitment to provide ongoing support to Oklahoma's low-income single mothers working to complete their post-secondary education. The Women’s Foundation of Oklahoma Grant is to be used to further assist efforts toward recruitment, enrollment, and retention of single mothers pursuing a degree and/or career certification at public higher education institutions. This grant making initiative focuses on providing systemic support for single mother students on campuses across Oklahoma.
