Grants to Oklahoma nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education for programs and initiatives to benefit girls and women. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, education, affordable childcare, support for single mothers, economic self-sufficiency, and quality of life.

The Women's Foundation of Oklahoma has committed to provide ongoing support to programs, projects, and initatives that broaden Oklahoma women and girls' access to opportunities to increase their economic self-sufficiency.

The Women’s Foundation of Oklahoma has opened a new funding opportunity to support Oklahoma women and girls. For this grant cycle, preference will be given to programs, initiatives, or services supporting women and girls in the following impact areas:

  • Education Programs:
    • STEAM programs and initatives for girls, as well as programs encouraging women and girls to enter STEAM fields
    • Scholarship programs for women in STEAM
  • Programs Providing Access to Affordable Childcare: Programs and initatives that provide quality childcare for low-income families at low or no cost, with a special emphasis on single mother households
  • Programs Supporting Single Mother Households: Programs, initatives, or services aimed at supporting single mother households
  • Other: Other Programs, initatives, or services aimed at supporting single mother households, supporting education and advocacy for increasing the quality of life for women and girls, and/or increasing the economic self-sufficiency of women in Oklahoma

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Women’s Foundation of Oklahoma only makes grants to 501c3 nonprofit organizations in good standing with the IRS, or institutions of higher education.

Individuals are not eligible to apply for grant funding.
