Grants ranging from $500 to $10,000 to Tennessee nonprofit organizations and government agencies to benefit youth and families in Nashville and the Middle Tennessee area. Funding is intended to support specific projects, one-time programs, and the purchase of durable goods. Projects with a detailed itemized list of grant expenses are more likely to be funded.

The Nashville Predators Foundation strives to meet the educational, social, health and cultural needs of the community by offering unique resources and financial support to local youth-oriented organizations.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Foundation grants may range from $500 to a maximum of $10,000 annually.

Average 2019 grant: $4,300.

Term of Contract:

100 percent of the funding must be used by February 26 unless special permission requested or program is in April/May 2021.

Funding will be distributed by early May. Please do not request funding for a project scheduled for April or May 2020. You may request for April or May 2021.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The organization must be a 501(c)(3) organization or government agency serving the Nashville or Middle Tennessee area.

Organizations whose operating budget is under $2 million will receive priority consideration.

Organizations looking to partner with the Nashville Predators and the Nashville Predators Foundation beyond funding are given stronger consideration. The organization must be available for a site visit if selected as a funded partner.

Organizations that have received funding in three consecutive years will be considered but organizations that have not received grants in consecutive years may receive priority consideration.

The Foundation will not award grants for general operating costs, staff salaries, sponsorship or fundraisers of any kind, capital campaigns, endowments or reserve funds or grants to individuals, PTAs or Booster Clubs.

Deadline is Monday, Jan. 6.

Grant recipients will be posted on the website by early April.

Each organization may only submit one grant application.
