Large matching grants to Florida tourism development councils and County visitor bureaus for marketing campaigns. Funding is intended to stimulate the Florida economy by providing funding for marketing projects to promote city-wide meetings and conventions to potential attendees and/or sponsors.

Eligible types of marketing campaigns include: digital advertising or social media, brochure development, website development, and any other component used to market a specific city-wide meeting or convention.

Please Note: All marketing must include the VISIT FLORIDA approved logo/tagline.

Estimated Total Program Funding:

$250,000

Estimated Size of Grant:

Each grant awarded under the program shall be limited to no more than $100,000 and awarded grants are based on $10 per contracted room night for the city-wide meeting.

Term of Contract:

All applications submitted by the March 31st deadline are for marketing campaigns taking place between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To receive an award under this grant program, applicants meet the following eligibility criteria:

- Applicants must be the sponsoring county visitor bureau or tourism development council;
- The city-wide meeting must utilize a minimum of 50,000 square feet of convention facility space;
- Attendees must utilize a minimum of 1,000 room nights on a peak night; and
- The city-wide meeting or convention must be new to Florida or must not have met in Florida in the last five years.
