Grants typically ranging from $200 to $1,500 to Michigan public school teachers for projects to enhance education in eligible Farmington Hills, Novi, Orchard Lake, Walled Lake and Wixom, Commerce, West Bloomfield, White Lake, and Wolverine Lake schools.
Applications are encouraged for innovative or creative educational tools, materials, projects, programs and activities.
Mini-grant funding shall compliment one or more of the Foundation's stated priority areas; technology and instruction, literacy, leadership and community, as well as further the District's strategic plans, goals and adopted Common CORE Standards.
Requested expenditure shall demonstrate a benefit to the Walled Lake District, defined population within, or its staff in aiding student achievement and show alignment with specific content standards.
Estimated Size of Grant:
Activities may take place during the 2015 - 2016 school year.
