National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) Educational Foundation
Grants to USA postsecondary media educators to participate in a professional development opportunity. The selected faculty members will receive a stipend and hands-on internship placements with cable systems, TV stations, cable or broadcast networks, or program distributors. The goal of this program is to improve teaching effectiveness through first-hand experience and to nurture relationships between educators and the industry.
Faculty awarded a NATPE Faculty Development Grant also receive a fellowship to attend the NATPE Market & Conference. That fellowship includes a travel stipend, hotel accommodation, conference registration, and most meals.

-Placement at the station/market/location of choice (whenever possible)
-A stipend of $500 per week for 2 to 4 weeks
-A full complimentary registration for the annual NATPE Market & Conference and reimbursement of up to $500 toward conference-related travel and accommodations
-A complimentary one year NATPE Educational Membership ($95 value)
Internships will last up to four weeks.
Applications are accepted from college and university media educators.
Faculty are encouraged to seek additional grant funding from their college or university to assist with summer placements beyond a local market.
The deadline to apply is March 30, 2018.
