Grants typically starting at $10,500 to USA nonprofit organizations for Alzheimer’s research and Alzheimer’s caregiver education, as well as quality of life initiatives in long term care. The caregiver education grantmaking focus involves not only nursing staff in long term care but the family caregiver as well.
Quality of life initiatives give promise to those that reside in a structured residential or community based setting, that there are opportunities to remain entertained, engaged, and enlightened.
Priority will be given to projects that involve or collaborate with Extendicare sites, or provide services in geographical areas served by Extendicare.
