Focus areas include youth, inclusion, environment, and animals. Funding is intended to support agencies providing services to people living in the Calgary region. The Foundation may consider supporting Calgary-based charities providing services elsewhere.
In response to the COVID-19 situation, Nickle Family Foundation will streamline its application and approval process with the objective of helping with the community’s most urgent needs.
The Foundation's priorities:
The Foundation wants to make grants that will show the greatest possible impact for its relatively small pool of funds. A contribution from the Foundation must be critical to the applicant's success, and the impact of a grant must be measurable.
