Battle Creek Community Foundation (BCCF)
Grants to Battle Creek area, Michigan nonprofit organizations for events, programs, and partnerships that build community pride, engage residents in important efforts, and improve their quality of life. Applicants must attend an orientation before applying. Grantseeker orientations will be held the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.
Livable Community Grants are designed for groups and organizations that seek to demonstrate any of the following:
- Connecting people
- Community spirit
- Engaging a speaker for an educational/inspirational experience
- Community events
- Urban socialization
- Environment stewardship
- Community partnerships
Priority will be given to funding requests that seek to engage under-represented populations, be innovative, aim for diversity and inclusion, youth engagement, and community partnerships.

Organizational grants are for nonprofit programs, organizations, and community groups either located in the greater Battle Creek area or implementing projects/programs directly affecting the citizens of the greater Battle Creek area.
Grantseeker Orientations are held to support potential grantees in applying for grants, as well as provide opportunities for grantseekers to network with one another. These orientations are held regularly and eligibility for applying for a grant is dependent on each potential grantee attending an orientation before a grant can be submitted. Grantseekers must attend annually to maintain eligibility.
Orientations are the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.
- The 2nd Wednesday will always be from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
- The 4th Wednesday will always be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.

Grant submissions are on a monthly basis and due the first business day of each month in order to be considered. The committee meets on a bi-monthly basis.
