Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $2,500 to British Columbia nonprofit organizations in eligible regions for projects and programs to benefit the community. Applicants are required to submit an LOI prior to applying. Priority will be given to organizations working with equity-seeking groups. Funding areas of interest include sports and recreation, improving the quality of life, the environment, heritage, and arts and culture. Eligible organizations serve the community of Port Moody.

The economic impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic cannot be overlooked in 2021. Many organizations are still incurring unforeseen additional costs. The Foundation’s grant programs are intended to benefit cultural and community organizations, particularly those that support, engage, and work with equity-seeking groups.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Foundation seeks Expressions of Interest from eligible local not-for-profit organizations needing financial support in 2021 for projects and programs that will benefit Port Moody and its community members.

Pre-Application Information:

Expressions of Interest should be submitted online in the form provided by Friday, February 26, 2021.

The Foundation’s Grant Committee will review all submissions and create a shortlist of those which best meet the Foundation’s funding criteria. Organizations selected will be notified before the end of February and will be requested to submit a more detailed funding application by Monday, March 31, 2021.

Successful grant recipients will be notified in May 2021.
