Grants to Wyoming nonprofit organizations to benefit communities within the State. Past grants have funded programs in the areas of disabilities, youth mentorship, substance abuse, health, domestic violence, mental health, families, women, homeless, arts, the environment, education, and basic human needs.
The Foundation's mission is to create or cause change, primarily for the benefit of the people of the State of Wyoming through the support of science, education, and charity.

Capital construction requests are not funded.
The John P. Ellbogen Foundation Board meets twice a year, Spring and Fall. The grant process is competitive. A Letter of Inquiry to the John P. Ellbogen Foundation is required as the first step in the grant request process. The due date is March 2, 2018.
Submitting a grant request is by invitation only.
