Request a Grant Writer

One award of $15,000 to recognize a Delaware County, Indiana public K - 12 school teacher who has brought innovation, enthusiasm, and 21st century skills to the classroom. Criteria for selection include the teacher’s use of unique approaches to motivate students by creating authentic learning experiences grounded in core academic content.

In addition, the teacher must display integrity and responsibility to the community, students, colleagues, and school, and be accountable to his/her area of academic training.

Superintendents of public schools in Muncie and Delaware County may nominate faculty members who have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and are actively teaching in the classroom in public schools in grades K-12 in Delaware County. Candidates must be fully accredited to teach in Indiana.
