Grants to Southern California nonprofit organizations for activities that benefit the South Asian American community. Funding is intended to support vital services and public projects designed to benefit disadvantaged populations.

Applicants may be scheduled for an interview with the Foundation selection committee as required.

The South Asian Bar Association of Southern California Public Interest Foundation provides grants to organizations engaged in public interest activities that benefit the South Asian-American community and the Southern California community at large. The Foundation gives preference to projects that provide services particularly to communities that are indigent or traditionally underserved. These grants play a vital role in allowing many worthwhile organizations to provide valuable services to these communities.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Foundation seeks grant applications from organizations that benefit the South Asian-American community and the Southern California community at large.

Preference is given to the South Asian-American community in Southern California, particularly communities that are indigent or traditionally underserved.

Pre-Application Information:

Completed proposals must be submitted by email to the Foundation by 5:00 pm on September 28, 2018.

After completed proposals are received, a selection committee will screen all qualified proposals and may schedule interviews with applicants as needed. The Foundation reserves the right to request further information from applicants, to reject any proposal, and to grant awards deemed to best serve the Foundation's mission.
