Grants to Saskatchewan nonprofits, for-profits, agencies, First Nations, and individuals to fund new field-based projects and analysis of archeological or paleontological collection(s) in order to develop an understanding of the extent and nature of the sites. Research must be original.
Eligible expenses:
- Contracted personnel - Fees and expenses for contracted personnel with specialized expertise
- Travel, accommodation and sustenance costs - In-province travel, accommodation and sustenance costs
- Equipment and materials - Rental of specialized equipment and/or materials necessary for the research. (e.g. equipment related to geophysical and aerial characterization of a site)
- Artifact analysis - Costs associated with analysis of artifacts, specimens and/or samples.
