Grants ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 to California nonprofits in San Francisco and Mendocino Counties for programs in the areas of education, outdoor education, and hospice care. LOIs are due June 30. Priority will be given to programs serving the economically disadvantaged and requests that can make good use of relatively small grants.
Educational programs should provide an opportunity for academic progress for youth 11-18 years of age, as well as providing a path to vocational training for students. Outdoor education should include camperships, field trips, and environmental education programs that can give young people ages 11-18 a new view of their world
