Grants of up to $2,000 to Lake County, Florida nonprofits, community groups and municipalities for freshwater resource education and initiatives. Funding is intended for projects and programs in the areas of water conservation, wetlands, watershed, lakes and rivers, shoreline vegetation, Floridan aquifer and water quality.
Priorities:
- Freshwater issues dealing with water quality and/or water conservation
- Hydrology, terrain, soil, animals, plants, and waterbodies
- Different and/or unique freshwater resource project(s)
No furniture, file cabinets, bookcases, AV carts, trailers, movie screens or headsets will be funded.
