Grants to Kentucky nonprofits and organizations for a wide range of programs, projects, and services that serve and benefit military families, as well as the surrounding local community. Funding will be provided to both local Kentucky and national organizations and charities.

The funding source especially welcomes applications from local organizations on and off post that serve military families as well as the surrounding community.

Organizations that have received Community Grants Spring 2017:

FAITH (Homeschool Group) Academics Co-op: to purchase used literature books and study guides for their language arts class that would be used repeatedly.

American Red Cross Pet Therapy Program: to help purchase supplies for their Pet Therapy training sessions (dog leads, choke collars, watering bowls, Pet Therapy vest, pet waste bags).

You Cannot Be What You Cannot See: to purchase 250 “You Cannot Be What You Cannot See” workbooks.

Joshua’s Friends for Exceptional Families, Inc.: to help fund a surround sound stereo and speaker system for their Joshua Java House.

CASA of the Heartland, Inc.: to purchase 20 sets of CASA training materials for their Spring 2017, Fall 2017, and Winter 2018 class trainees.

Meade County ATC Fire and EMS Program: to help pay for rescue training on extraction of patients entrapped in motor vehicle accidents.

BeastMode Hardin County Kentucky Track Club: to help purchase equipment for upcoming track season, building rental, tents and canopies for track meet, equipment storage.

Hooray for Heroes: to help pay for their annual event for military and first responders.

Mission Hope for Kids: to help fund items for the literacy program (such as whisper phones, books, etc.).

American Red Cross Santa’s Workshop: to purchase 25 bicycles for their program to help children of financially challenged military, regardless of rank.
