Rochester Area Community Foundation (RACF)
Grants of up to $750, $2,000, and $2,500 to Rochester, New York neighborhood and community associations, and block clubs for projects that will enhance the quality of life for residents of the city's East Side. Funding is intended to support organizations that are resident-controlled and neighborhood-based such as landlord and tenant associations, and neighborhood-based business or merchants associations.

Other types of neighborhood-based groups: Up to $2,000.
The next round will accept applications from organizations serving neighborhoods on Rochester's east side. Eligible organizations include:
-Neighborhood associations have broad missions and broader coverage than block clubs, focus on a wide range of neighborhood issues, and are capable of facilitating activities for smaller groups.
-Block clubs are smaller in focus than neighborhood associations, usually organized on one street or block.

Note: Nonprofit organizations that are not neighborhood-based and resident-controlled are not eligible.
