Grants of up to $20,000 to Arizona nonprofit organizations for initiatives to benefit young people in eligible locations. Funding is intended for programs promoting educational success and opportunities for development and self-improvement. Grants should have a lasting and positive impact on the population served by the applicant organization. Eligible organizations serve the Oro Valley and greater Tucson area communities.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving the Oro Valley and greater Tucson area communities are eligible.

SCCF will not consider requests for endowments, debt reduction, or large capital funding.

Pre-Application Information:

Grant Review and Recommendation Process:
- April - November: Agencies are encouraged to review the grant making policies and schedule. You may register your organization prior to November 1, but may not submit a Grant Application until then.
- November 1st - January 15th: Agencies submit grant applications to Stone Canyon Community Foundation online. All grant applicants must submit a Common Grant Application to apply.
- February: Committee reviews grant applications, conducts additional research and agency site visits.
- March: Committee prepares a recommendation for grant funding to the SCCF Board for approval.
- April: The Committee notifies all finalists, whether or not they have received a grant.
