Grants ranging from $100 to $1,000 to Arkansas nonprofits, agencies, schools, churches, and hospitals for programs benefiting youth and children within Carroll County. In the past, grants have been given to programs that focus upon literacy, the arts, feeding and clothing the needy, and dental care.

Decisions about funding are made by local high school members of the Committee.

Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Grants will be awarded to projects that:
- Have a clear, charitable purpose, as well as public benefit.
- Show evidence of cooperation or collaboration with other organizations working in the same field.
- Show evidence of local financial support and the likelihood of future support for the project or program.
- Are innovate and creative in their approach.
- Have evidence of a plan for evaluating the project.
- Have potential for sustainability beyond the grant period.
