Grants of up to $12,000 and in-kind assistance to Arkansas nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies for forestry projects. Funding is intended to support environmental programs that develop, enhance, and promote urban and community trees and forests.

The allowable grant expenditures for local program development projects have a maximum limit of $12,000 federal dollars. The Grant Review Committee may waive the maximum allowable grant award for an exceptional proposal.
Projects funded in the 2021 grant cycle must be completed by August 31, 2023.
