Grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 to Missouri and Illinois nonprofit organizations in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area for operating support and projects that support immigrants, refugees, veterans, and seniors who are living independently, and human trafficking prevention. Funding is also available for coalition-building and advocacy (within one of the previous focus areas). TheFund seeks to support programs that respect and protect the dignity of each person, especially those that are materially poor and vulnerable.

Nonprofits must be located in the Counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Madison, Macoupin, Monroe, Jersey, St. Clair in Illinois; and Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Warren, and Washington in Missouri.

Types of Grants:
- General Operating Support Grants are available to support the ongoing services, mission or goals of an organization within the Fund's focus areas. To be eligible, 100% of the organization's programs must serve the selected focus area.
- Program or Project Support: A Program is an organized set of services designed to achieve specific outcomes for a specified population that will continue beyond the grant period. A Project is a planned undertaking or organized set of services designed to achieve specific outcomes that are time-limited. (Note: A successful project may become an ongoing program of the organization.)

The overall impact of MMF’s grant funding support will be measured by asking grantees to track two outcomes: Increased Stability and Improved Quality of Life. Outcomes for programs related to Human Trafficking Prevention should be increased knowledge, skills, and collaboration for prevention, as well as increased support and stability for high-risk youth and youth survivors. The expected outcomes for advocacy and coalition building are increased awareness and advocacy for social change, and increased collaboration for social change.

For additional information about outcomes and indicators for focus areas, see page 3 of the guidelines in Support Documents, below.
