USA: Maine: Towns of Blue Hill, Sedgwick, Penobscot, Castine, Orland, Surry, Deer Isle, Stonington, Brooksville, and Brooklin
Grants of up to $3,000 to Maine nonprofit organizations, community groups, individuals, and schools to enhance health, well-being, and food sustainability in eligible regions. Applications will be considered for programs and projects implemented in and serving the residents of the towns of Sedgwick, Blue Hill, Castine, Penobscot, Orland, Surry, Deer Isle, Stonington, Brooksville, and Brooklin.
In addition to meeting the grant program goals, successful applications will be those that place an emphasis on creating a more just and sustainable local food system through food production, education or related projects. High priority is placed on projects that can also demonstrate benefit to the community.
