Request a Grant Writer

Grants ranging from $500 to $1,500 to USA nonprofit organizations in east coast states for programs that provide outdoor opportunities for youth. Eligible states are Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, DC, and West Virginia

Consideration will be given to all requests, but grants will be awarded on a competitive basis. Selection criteria include:

-How many youth it will serve
-Lasting impact
-Will program succeed without grant
-Others as determined by EORA Board of Directors

Estimated Total Program Funding:

$4,500

Estimated Size of Grant:

Minimum of $500 – Maximum of $1500 per program, per region.

Term of Contract:

Grants are made on a one-time basis.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be Charitable Nonprofit Organization with IRS 501(c)(3) status. One cannot have been a previous recipient of the EORA grant.

EORA covers three regions on the east coast:

-Southeast - AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV
-Mid-Atlantic - DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, DC
-New England - CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT

Pre-Application Information:

The annual budget for this program is $4,500, with $1,500 awarded in each region.

Applications must be submitted no later than September 15, 2017.

Applicant accepted notices will be issued by January 30, 2017. If accepted, grants will be funded by April.
