Award of $1,000 to a Massachusetts individual member ESL teaching professional for outstanding efforts that reflect enthusiasm and creative, energetic and independent thinking. Specifically, the award is for addressing the needs of refugee students and is intended for a professional who displays the ability to take risks, solve problems, support colleagues and model ethical behavior.
To nominate an individual please provide the following information:
- As nominator, your name, address, phone, e-mail, affiliation, and relationship to the nominee;
- For the nominee: name, title, affiliation, contact info;
- A statement of at least 250 words and no more than 750 words describing the individual’s achievements and why you think they should get the award;
- If appropriate, any supporting materials (but in one attachment).
The Award will be presented on at the MATSOL 2016 Conference on May 5.
