Grants ranging from $100 to $500 to St. Mary’s County, Maryland elementary and secondary schools to provide students with quality arts experiences, including music, drama, dance, visual art, and literature. Funding may be used to host arts performances or hands-on workshops by visiting artists, writers, performers, master arts teachers, and other arts professionals.

Only one AIE Grant per school is permitted. However, the grant can be awarded for a series of performances or workshops (e.g., the PTA, an art teacher and music teacher at one school can make a combined proposal for two or more performances/residencies).

$100 - $500

The grant support period is November 4, 2016 – June 30, 2017.

St. Mary's County elementary and secondary schools are eligible.

ll AIE Grant Applications must be received by the SMCAC no later than 12:00 noon, Friday, November 4, 2016.

You must be able to “match” your grant request at a minimum of a 1:1 ratio (dollar-for-dollar).
