Grants to Michigan nonprofit organizations for programs and services to benefit local seniors and youth in eligible communities. Applicants must attend an information session and register for the application portal prior to applying. Funding is intended for applicants serving Washtenaw County.

Anna Botsford Bach Fund for Seniors Grant Program

This grant program accepts applications from:

  • Organizations, programs, and services that support and serve caregivers of seniors
  • Organizations, programs, and services that serve seniors

Youth Council Grant Program

This year, the grant program will accept applications from organizations that support high school age youth and deliver programs addressing:

  • Mental Health Initiatives - Depression, anxiety, suicide, self- harm, and body image
  • Academic Support Services - Tutoring, mentoring, and other supports to address educational equity
  • College Preparedness - College applications and preparing for a positive college experience
  • Anti-discrimination Education & Awareness - Racism and LGBTQIA+ services

In addition, grants will be available for programs serving youth ages 5-18 which:

  • Support the work of the Juvenile Division of the Probate Court
  • Children with disabilities

501(c)(3) nonprofits providing services in Washtenaw County, Michigan are eligible to apply for grants from the AAACF.

Pre-Application Information:

Submit all required narrative sections through the NonProfit Portal by Thursday, February 3, 2022.

If needed, register for the NonProfit Portal to receive access to the grant application. All organizations must submit a request for credentials by Monday, January 24, 2022.

There are variations between each grant program, but all applicants will be contacted no later than eight weeks after the grant deadline.

Organizations may submit one unique application per grant program.
