Grants of up to $500 to Arkansas PreK-12 teachers to integrate economics education activities into the existing school curricula. Teachers are invited to requesting funding for creative projects involving personal finance, entrepreneurship, and other aspects of economics.
Recipients are required to attend the May 2018 Economics Exchange Conference in Little Rock to share ideas and discuss the implementation of their activities in the classroom.

All grant recipients are eligible for up to $100 reimbursement payable to the school district to help defray the cost of a substitute for attendance at the spring 2018 Economics Exchange Conference. Grant recipients may also be eligible to receive a travel stipend to defray the cost of attendance; additional information will be provided at a later time.
Funds will be used to implement the unit in the 2017-2018 academic year.
Economics Arkansas provides resources and training to PreK-12 teachers in both public and independent schools in Arkansas.
Teachers may apply individually or in teams of two.
2018 Economics Exchange Conference reimbursements and travel stipends will be awarded upon successful completion of the Economics Exchange.
There are two cycle deadlines. Applications should be received in the Economics Arkansas office by the deadline.
Fall grant applications must be submitted by August 1, 2017. Grants will be awarded by September 1, 2017.
Spring grant applications must be submitted by December 1, 2017. Grants will be awarded by January 5, 2018.
