Grants of up to $500 to Arkansas PreK-12 teachers to integrate economics education activities into the existing school curricula. Teachers are invited to requesting funding for creative projects involving personal finance, entrepreneurship, and other aspects of economics.
Economic education is real life, because all young people will grow up and become part of the marketplace. Economics Arkansas provides resources and training to PreK-12 teachers in both public and independent schools in Arkansas. The belief is that through training teachers, the multiplier effect is achieved. Each school year, the training a teacher receives through Economics Arkansas can impact new children.

Funds will be used to implement the unit in the 2018-2019 academic year.
Economics Arkansas provides resources and training to PreK-12 teachers in both public and independent schools in Arkansas. Teachers may apply individually or in teams of two. Signatures of principal and teacher(s) are required.
Grant Recipient Requirements:
-Funds will be used to implement the unit in the 20118-19 academic year.
-A final grant report is required. The report should be written following the format received when the grant is awarded.
-Any unused portion of grant money should be returned with the final budget report.
For the 2018-19 school year, there are two cycle deadlines:
-Sept. 10, 2018, with grants awarded Sept. 26.
-Jan. 14, 2019, with grants awarded Jan. 30.
You man only receive funding for one grant cycle.
