Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation (HCHF)
Grants to Texas nonprofits and government agencies for programs that strive to improve health and welfare in the Panhandle region. Funding is intended for projects that provide quality cancer care, cancer prevention, cancer detection, as well as supportive care and survivorship. Projects must take place in the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle.
Programs and projects should address the top-identified health concerns of the community. Funded initiatives will show the greatest promise for successful implementation.
Community health and welfare focus areas include, but not limited to:
- Access to Care
- Behavioral Health
- Chronic Disease Management and Prevention

- Must be a 501(c)(3) organization or governmental entity.
- Individuals are not eligible applicants.
- The Foundation will accept grant requests that will benefit the residents and communities of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle.
- Spring: March 10
- Fall: September 8
