Grants of up to $1,000 to USA and Territories schools, community groups, nature centers, or museums for projects that involve youth in environmental and conservation education. Proposed projects must incorporate service-learning, exemplify student voices, involve at least one community partner, and secure at least 50% matched funds (in-kind acceptable).

The projects partner students with their whole school, local businesses and/or community organizations, and provide opportunities for student leadership. Examples of eligible projects include, but are not limited to: students implementing recycling programs at their school, conserving water and energy, establishing school gardens and outdoor classrooms, improving a forest, or restoring a natural habitat.
