Grants to Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico nonprofit organizations to support sports programming for youth throughout the funding's source's region. Funding may be used for capital purchases and projects as well as for league development. The goal of the program is to support and promote youth participation in baseball and softball.

As a baseball team, the Texas Rangers are committed to supporting the growth of the sport and making sure that every child is afforded the opportunity to experience joy and community through baseball and softball. This grant is designed to continue to build baseball and softball by providing funding for field renovations, equipment needs, uniforms, and league development for teams throughout Rangers territory.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Globe Life, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and Bally Sports Southwest provide grants to youth baseball and softball organizations to promote and support the sport through Texas Rangers territory.

Applicant Eligibility:
- Provide baseball and/or softball to youth 18 years or younger
- Operate within the following one or more states: Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma or Texas
- Be designated as 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization as defined by the Internal Revenue code.

- Grants will not be made to individuals or national organizations that do not operate in the Texas Rangers territory.
- Grant may not be allocated to supplement team travel expenses and/or tournament fees.
- Grants will not be made for political campaigns or fundraising events, including the purchase of tables, tickets or advertisements.
- Grants will not be made to individuals, churches, or to national organizations that do not have local financially independent chapters.
- If an organization is awarded a grant, that specific local organization will be ineligible for an award for one year.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due by Thursday, June 30, 2022.

An organization may submit one application per calendar year.
