Grants to Illinois nonprofits in eligible regions for programs that enhance the quality of life for local residents. Funding is for projects in the focus areas of human services, cultural arts, healthcare, and education. Eligible programs are those that benefit communities in Will County.
The Community Foundation of Will County (CFWC) is Will County’s charitable endowment, allowing for investment income to be used to promote philanthropic purposes. Priority areas are in health, education, human services, and the arts.
With Community Partner Grants, the Foundation seeks to be a responsive and proactive community partner with the not-for-profit sector. The funding source seeks to address larger issues of importance in the community, especially those which:
Reflect a strategic collaborative partnership – not-for-profits working together to address a wider need;
Address a critical need impacting a wide segment of the community;
Build the organizational capacity of a nonprofit to be more effective and efficient in how they do their work.
The Foundation may provide essential administrative costs to launch or conduct the project.
