Grants of up to $5,000 to USA public school districts in eligible regions to enhance K-12 education in communities where the funding source has a business presence. Consideration will be given to applications that meet the following program goals:
-To improve the educational experience for students K–12 in public school districts located in communities served by ONEOK or ONEOK Partners.
-To provide opportunities to cultivate and enhance relationships with community leaders while working together to improve public education.
-Classroom enrichment projects and instructional technology
-Assistance for disadvantaged students
-Curriculum-based materials and equipment
-Programs that help improve student performance and/or enrich student experience

Grant requests of $5,000 or less will be considered.
Multi-year commitments will not be considered.
Public school districts located within ONEOK/ONEOK Partners work locations are eligible. See map of work locations below, under Grant Coverage Areas.
Only one grant per calendar year may be awarded to a public school district and/or district foundation; if the school district has a foundation, the application should be submitted from it, but if there is no school foundation, then the school administration should ensure that only one application is submitted from the district.
A review committee will evaluate all requests and approve awards based on innovation, demographics, percentage of student body impacted and estimated duration of use.
The following will not be eligible for grant funding:
-Salaries; student scholarships; teacher continuing education; training or honoraria
-Travel expenses for school-related excursions
-Sponsorships for extracurricular school events
-Yearbooks, textbooks, student publications or campus advertisements
-Rental fees for furniture or equipment; sales taxes; shipping costs; or delivery fees
-Multiyear commitments; or capital improvement projects usually funded by bond issues
Public school grant requests may be submitted at any time and are reviewed annually on February 1.
Any requests submitted after that date will not be reviewed until the next year’s grant cycle.
Grant requests are reviewed on a competitive basis. All applicants will be notified of the final decisions in May, and all approved grants will be paid within 30 days of notification.
