Omaha Community Foundation (OCF) - Jetton Charitable Fund
Grants starting at $5,000 to Omaha metropolitan area, Nebraska nonprofit organizations to support youth exposure to the performing and visual arts, natural science, technology, zoology, botany, and history. Programs offered by cultural institutions will be emphasized more than traditional educational institutions or academic classrooms.
Under special circumstances, the eligible service area could be extended to Lincoln and arts and educational organizations in Nebraska as well as southwest Iowa. The primary purpose of such grants is programmatic with very special exceptions for capacity building.

Grant requests should seek funding in an amount not less than $5,000.
Your organization must be a public, tax-exempt organization as defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or working with a 501(c)(3) fiscal agent who can receive funds on your behalf.
The Jetton Charitable Fund will make grants primarily to organizations in the Omaha metropolitan service area.
Under special circumstances, the area could be extended to Lincoln and arts and educational organizations in Nebraska as well as southwest Iowa. The primary purpose of such grants is programmatic with very special exceptions for capacity building.
Applicants’ policies and practices must be in alignment with the following non-discrimination clause: the applicant organization does not discriminate in hiring practices or service provision to clients and/or customers based on race, ethnicity, religious preference, age, mental, emotional, or physical] ability/disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, military service, or gender.
Grants are made to organizations that:
- Have been in existence for at least 5 years.
- Spend at least 75% or more of the annual operating budget on the delivery of its programs.
- Serve the general population, rather than a subset limited by various demographic data.
The 2017 Jetton Fund grant cycle will be open June 1st to July 14, 2017. Decisions on funding will be made in August. Nonprofit organizations will be notified in early August.
