AgStar Fund for Rural America
Grants of up to $3,000 to Minnesota and Wisconsin volunteer fire, rescue, and ambulance departments to aid in the purchase of equipment. Departments must be located in the eligible rural areas that the funding source serves. Funding is available for any emergency response equipment, technology, or turnout gear. The purpose of these grants is to help local emergency response departments stay up-to-date on emergency equipment despite financial constraints.
Minnesota Counties: Aitkin, Anoka, Benton, Brown, Carver, Cass, Crow Wing, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Itasca, Kanabec, McLeod, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Nicollet, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Sibley, Stearns, and parts of Todd and Wright.
Minnesota Counties: Carlton, Chisago, Cook, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Lake, Olmsted, Pine, St. Louis, Wabasha, Washington, and Winona.
Wisconsin Counties: Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Chippewa, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Iron, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, Sawyer, St. Croix, and Washburn.
Minnesota Counties: Blue Earth, Cottonwood, Dodge, Faribault, Freeborn, Jackson, LeSueur, Martin, Mower, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Rice, Rock, Steele, Waseca, and Watonwan.

Rural volunteer emergency response departments located in the funding source's local Service area are eligible to apply.

Those who have not received a grant from AgStar in the past 2 years are eligible to apply.
Applications will be accepted online between August 1 and August 31.
